More from 42nd & Orange.

Thanks Bethany for tipping me off on this months cover page model. Our very own Devlin. So very cute, modeling for m.o.m.

These fun shots were from a recent shoot I helped style, while Devlin lent her modeling talents. Photographs by the talented Bethany.

Love it!

Roxy Teenie Wahine Spring 2012

A few months back, I spent a day up in Newport Beach with the Roxy team, as prop stylist for the spring 2012 Roxy girls catalog. It was a fun day!!

Enjoy! Hoping to post more from this shoot as it becomes available. And for a split second you can spot the kite I made as a prop (not the pink one, the greenish one - about 49 seconds in), that actually flew. Too bad you can't see me jumping up and down screaming with joy!

Things have been a little busy around here. Hoping to get back to the creative life soon. I am currently busy baking cookies, planning family trips & homemade valentines and stain treating hot chocolate stains from the little ones t-shirts.

{four.for.friday} its getting kinda hot in here.

You've got to love this July in January weather. It even smells like summer.  The evenings are still crisp and cool, leaving me thankful for my new (faux) Ugg boots.

I have been enjoying the new perspective a new year brings. 2012 is off to a great start. I am feeling wise and comfortable in my life. And it's quite lovely.

happy weekending.

happy new year (again!)

I still don't quite understand why we got two new years days this year, but I like it.

On the first the kids were a bit grumpy from their late night. We spent the day relaxing and eating black eyed peas. Today, we lounged around and watched the Rose Bowl parade and then headed to the beach with dear friends.

I am hoping 2012 brings us more joy, adventures and challenges. And I don't quite have a resolution yet. and I never really keep them anyway. My life's like that.

My kids were so inspired by the Rose Bowl Parade this morning, that they wanted to make their own flower float. These kids are awesome.

I hope everyone had a great first and second day of 2012, it's going to be a great year...I can just feel it!
